Hey Everybody, Some of you might have noticed that after my second section in Whakatane I was quite downcast and did not really want to be teaching. I talked to a few people about it and I was quite depressed. The reason for this was I had a couple of bad days in Whakatane and being isolated from everybody (church, CU and family) I found it hard to deal with. I let it get out of perspective - I mean everybody has bad days- I started to think that teaching was going to be too hard for me. I even started looking at alternatives and lost my interest in the section. As a result of this my teaching suffered and I got a fairly bad report which just got me down more. However God helped me out, I got back to Christchurch and I started to talk to people and pray. God blessed me by giving me a good section in Waimate. He also broke my CD player so I had nothing to do on my roadtrip but pray- Thanks God -. Thanks to everybody for supporting me during this time, God has shown me that teaching is something that I can do - only with his help though. It is still a really hard job - so much paper work and responsibility beyond the call of duty, but God is good and reminds me of Phil 4:13 "I can do everything through him who gives me strength". So to sum up this blog, thanks to everybody that supported me (knowingly or unknowingly) and God bless.
Oh a couple of cool versus,
Psalm 16:11 "You have made know to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." Psalm 16 is my favorite Psalm (at the moment).
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 " May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strength you in every good deed and word." <---This vs rocks it is sooo cooool

its amazing how many of us have been going through this sort of thing - where we think we've got our careers sorted then all of a sudden become disheartened over them, and wonder if its REALLY what God wants us to do, and if its even what we want to do...
