The ESBC (Eh Steve Broadcasting Corporation) would like to interrupt this broadcast with a breaking news update….*Shot of Steve in suit and tie in front of goofy picture of Steve in background, Newscaster reads: *In Steve News…I have moved out of the glorious, wonderful, superlative Dubya flat and back to my parents home in the ‘burbs. Yeah Sky TV and Jetstream, boo to no cool flat-mates. So thanks to all at the Dubya flat (Andrew being the only one who might read this) it has been a fun filled year of gammy taps, never enough bread and milk, lots of The Simpsons, a little bit of X-Box and a whole lot of fun, and so ends the legacy of the Dubya flat and we pass it on to the capable hands of Andrew, Woody, The Eel, J-Rod and Rueben (what is he dippidy doing?) and Brehaught and Jimmy over summer. I think this combination of flat-mates is very dangerous I think they will be hot bed of heresy and board-games.
However moving back home is good because I get to spend time with my sister Sarah, who has spent this year down from Auckland where she was working as a SPLTH chick. However I have not been at home to enjoy the presence of my sister so I am looking forward to hanging out with Sarah. I have just finished the book I was reading The Scorpio Illusion by Robert Ludlum. I made the mistake of telling Mum that I needed a new book to read, so she dusted the cobwebs off her book collection and donated me a library of helpful books, so I am going to find a bean bag a BIG pot of coffee and see you in August next year…mmmmm…hibernation. I am reading a book about Christians and politics by Charles Colsen
I also went shopping for glasses and spent $400 on a pair of glasses when the Tron could have sold me a pair from the Warehouse for $2.50.
I have not yet made any plans for next year but I have still got time… after all the world is my pickled onion (I don’t like seafood- apart from Sushi- so no oysters for me- and pickled onions have the same effect of nasty breath).
